What's going on?

Here is a melting pot of the last week or so.

-I am still sick from our trip. I did go see the doctor and I am on a special diet to have a series of test done. So keeping positive.

-My god son is now out of the hospital and home. :) I will not go see him right away because I don't know yet if I am contagious and he is so tiny that I don't want to give him or his 2 sisters what ever I have.

-Work is absolutely crazy because of the government year end and our big wins across Canada.

-This weekend I am hosting another girls night of clothes exchange.

-I put together the package for my Dozen of eggs giveaway, so dont forget to participate.

-I am picture hunting for the new color of my blog for the month of April

-My best friend is moving back to town in July, she misses us too much.

-I got my Master Card cloned (but they stopped it in time)

-Me and D have taken the bed frame apart (I was so scared of it falling apart)

-This weekend I will have a 3 day weekend and it will be over 20C degrees (YAY)

And it is Easter Sunday! Woot Woot! Chocolate heaven!!!!!

Girly girl crush

Yes I have a crush, a big crush on a star *blushing*

His name is Jaroslav Halak. He is the goaltender of the Montreal Canadiens.


Even if I have a boyfriend and that Jaroslav is almost 8 years younger than me, I cant stop thinking about him like a teenager *giggles*

There's a little something in his eyes I love so much.





I wanted to go buy a Montreal Canadien's bikini just to get him to sign it.
I blow kisses at the TV each time I see him. I wish I could meet him.

Andhari's Dress Party Project

Andhari is hosting this cool project.


We have till February 3rd to post a picture of ourselves in a pink dress.
So today I went out shopping with my sister to tried on some dresses (because I don't own anything pink) and took pictures in the stores that allowed it.

Here is the result:


It's not all pink, but I hope it will count :)

The not fashionable me

I have a confession to make for those of you who don’t know me; I am not a fashion person.

For some unknown reason I just can’t seem to be able to follow fashion.
I would love to be able to wear high heels, but they hurt my feet and they just aren’t me.
I would love to be able to wear make up, but I just feel I am putting on Halloween make up.
When a new trend comes out most of the time I don’t like it.

I know that I love comfort and I could be a little more stylish in my comfort, but I just can’t seem to get there.
All the new clothes that come out in stores could look very pretty on me, but I am always cold so I always wear something long sleeve.
Accessories are my worst nightmare, I really feel like I am playing with my moms stuff, not mine.
So most of the times, like my purses I end up giving them away.
I can not do my nails; either I always buy bad nail polish or I have just bad luck because it always chips the first day.

Seriously my fashion style sucks I feel like am I still stuck in my teen years.
When I see those makeover shows on TV I just want to scream out, pick me pick me.

Any advice? I need an intervention.

2010 Resolutions

Here it goes, I've been thinking about time for a while now and here is what I've come up with.

-Eat at the kitchen table instead of on front of the TV.
-Lose 20 of the 30 pounds I gained last year.
-Go to the gym 3 times a week.
-Point out positive things (new positive label appearing)
-Get a pedicure
-Try out yoga and meditation
-Do more than one trip (Holguin, NYC, Barcelona, London)
-Clean my car more than twice a year
-Take more pictures
-Fall in love all over again
-Try not to care what others think of me
-Finish my Spanish class
-Be the best godmother I can be
-Go see the head man again
-Eat less chocolate (I have an addiction)
-Each time I buy something for someone else, I have to buy something for me
-Not cry over my short hair
-Make the bed everyday
-Take another RSP


I want 2010 to be a year of changes, I need change!

My 2009 recap

Now that the 2009 year is almost over; Here is a recap of all the event that happened in my life during this pass year.

-I started my first official blog that I would share with the rest of the world.

-We lived through D's mom getting diagnosed with cancer, getting surgery and recovering (all of that while being 3500 km away)

-Moved my sister back to Montreal (and back into my life)

-My dad got surgery in one of his hands.

-We had a fabulous trip to Cayo Guillermo (even if we got stuck 17 hours at the airport)

-Discovered I am allergic to cats.

-We found a new fabulous apartment.

-I got diagnosed with a small heart condition.

-I got my first attitude notice at work (hihihi)

-Saw Alberta in summer (much better than at -35 in winter)

-I discovered a purse and shoe addiction, but got ride of it.

-Started to go to the gym.

-I caught my first fish ever.
-My best friend moved 10hours away, came back to be with her dad diagnosed with cancer.
-Won 75$ at the 6/49 Yay!

-Gained 30 pounds :(

-Learned I was going to be a Godmother of the only boy of a set of triplets.
-I hosted my first Thanksgiving dinner with a turkey too big for my cookware.

-My grandmother passed.

-One of my good friends mom was told that this time cancer would win her over and ever since she has just been kicking his ass and doing great.

-Turned 31.

-Spoiled a few blogger friends in a few giveaways.

-Got my first Christmas cards ever in the mail (which made me so happy)

-I had one of the best Christmas in a few years.

Girly girl movies

I've been wanting to do an evening of girly girl movies, but I just don't know what to rent.
I think the two the last girly girl movie I saw was Sex in the city and PS I love you and both of these movies have been out for a while.

Anyone of you seen good movies lately?

The proposal?

Give me your best suggestion to make me cry (believe me I don't need much)

Clothes exchange night

Last night I had 13 girls come over to my place for a 'Girls night, clothes exchange night'
Every one of the brought a bag full of clothes, shoes, books, jewelry, make up, ect...
One by one we presented our items. Who ever was interested took it the item, if more than one of us was interested,we drew numbers and the highest number got to keep the piece.
We ate pizza, drank a little and had tones of laughs.

We had a fabulous time and everyone left with something.
Everything that was left that nobody wanted I brought to charity this morning.

Life as a single girl 4/6

Today was a hard day, with a little bit of good.
Here's a mix of a little bit of everything that happened.

Bad sleep again, low staff at work, lots of tension.

I went out with a friend for dinner, which was very nice. We chatted for few hours about this and that. I think this guy will be a friend of mine for a very long time.

I got another friend an interview today for a new job after losing his current job.

Spent 45 minutes trying to remove the ugly nail polish from yesterday and it is not all gone. Bad cheap stuff that doesn't want to go away and of course it's black so I look like I have dirty nails.

I cleared my credit card and now I am broke.

One of my girlfriends mother is living a rough part of her life health wise, but she is in a good period right now and it makes my friend smile, which makes me smile.

Spent over an hour trying to do my new short hair and I realized that I don't like short hair.

I don't feel like going to work tomorrow and I don't feel like going to Spanish class tomorrow. I just want to spend a lazy day in bed watching girl movies.

I miss my best friend, but reading my new blogger friends helps.

The cat doesn't understand me when I talk to him in French.

I hate Wednesdays, always have, always will.

I bought Halloween candy to give to kids and I don't know if kids come by in this neighborhood. So I'll end up eating them.

I wanted to talk to my boyfriend but he was with his family and I'd rather talk to him face to face. So the conversation was very short.

I gained another pound and I skipped the gym for another day.

I want a massage so bad, my body is hurting for everywhere.

I'm going to bed to continue reading a book I started.

Life as a single girl 3/6

I slept a little better last night, I think I was exhausted.
After work to day I went shopping for a computer case, cant find anything.
Then I went to get my car cleaned inside and out.
Came back home, changed and went back out.
Bought a new nail polish and magazine.
And I heard this Belgium chocolate box screaming at me so I had to buy that too.
Got home, ate dinner, talk a little on the phone with boyfriend.
Did my nails again and enjoyed my chocolates in front of the TV.
Tonight it is the Big Brother last show, so gotta go ;)

Like it or not?

I think it's pretty, but not sure if I like it or not.
I guess I'll see once I try to do it on my own.

J'ai envie d'une coupe. De changer de tête. Oser ce que l'on m'a toujours dit que je ne pourrais pas avoir à défaut d'avoir trop de cheveux.
