Saturday's hot guy #21

Hello, everyone! I'm Andhari from Insomniac Lolita and I'm taking her post this Saturday as ambassador to Hottieville. That's right, while she's enjoying her weekend away, pleasuring your eyes is still the main priority.

I always find myself to be an appreciator ( sometimes a creepy one at that ) of God-gifted beauty, especially in men. I applaud them ( and print their pictures for my collection -- ahem! ) if they have yummy sculpted body with muscles in all the right place, smoldering eyes, and sexy lips. And if they have radiating confidence, clean, and know how to dress themselves? HELLO. PUT A RING ON IT.

So when Caro asked me to pick a hot guy for this week, I made a long list. Narrowed it to 10 then 5 then 3, closed my eyes, eenie-minie-mo-ed it ( I can't pick! I'm GREEDY!), and the result is...JESSE METCALFE.

Or as I would prefer to call.. John Tucker. My goodness, almost every chick flick fan I know would prefer calling him that. Remember how sexy he was as a bad basketball star in John Tucker Must Die?

Speaking of bad boy, he played the role often. He was this younger guy Eva "BonyCougar" Longoria cheated his husband with in Desperate Housewives.

More about him? He was born in California,32 years ago, but grew up in Connecticut. He's a mixed of French, Italian, and Portuguese. His hobbies are basketball, sculpting,piano, and golf. He used to work in landscaping business before seriously did professional modeling, which led him to acting. You can read more here.

Saint Patrick's Day

Hey Ladies & Gents (any Gents out there?) it's me Carrie from Just a Girl.
Ms. Caro, was so kind and asked if I would be a guest blogger while she is off getting her tan on in beautiful CUBA (ehh.. I am totally jealous!).

She let me choose from a few topics, and my pick was..........

SAINT PATRICKS DAY

St. Patty's Day is one of my top 3 favorite celebrations. (1st of course Halloween, 2nd is Christmas)

I am Irish, actually I am Irish and Indian with a little mixture of some other's. But those aren't important. Although I don't have the red hair, I had bleach blonde hair and was blessed with fair skin. My brothers and sisters on the other hand, had more or the Indian heritage in them... dark hair and dark complexion.

Anyhoo... enough about my mutt of a heritage and family life...

lets get into some St. Patty's Day facts shall we.....

~Saint Patrick was known as a Patron Saint in Ireland died on March 17th.

~ The first St. Patty's Day Parade was not held in Ireland, but in Boston in 1737.

~Did you know up until the 1970's Ireland had a law to where all Pubs were closed on March 17th? (say.. what!)

~Did you know people in Ireland consider the color green to be unlucky? Blue was actually the color of Vesiments.

~1,883,200,000 (that's 1.9 billion) pints of Guinness are consumed around the world every year.

~ An Irish toast: “May your glass be ever full.
May the roof over your head be always strong.
And may you be in heaven half an hour before the devil knows you're dead.”

~ The number 3 is Irelands magic number

~ When over in Ireland... if you need to use the restroom Men look for *FIR* on the restroom door... Women should look for *MNA*


And after many hours (okay not many hours) of googling trying to find some fun facts of St. Patricks Day, I have come to the conclusion... there really aren't that many! BLARNEY!

Taboo's

Hello all readers! This is Tiara from littletiara here, first off, I’d thank Caro for giving me the chance to do this guest blogging in her fabulous blog while she’s away on a very very fun vacation. She better bring me home some souvenirs or… *insert devil smirk here*

Okay, so Caro asked me to say about taboo things, which I’m not really an expert of. After digging my brain, rolling on my bed and eat chocolates for days (those are the rituals to get some inspirations, you know?), I finally remember I have one! Not really my experience, though. It’s my friend’s story.

Imagine yourself, walking in an empty road, yeah walking, in a broad daylight, notthe creepy dark night walking in an alley, no, you are enjoying the scenery and fresh air and all, suddenly, out of nowhere, a guy in motorcycle passes you by. Of course you won’t pay much attention to him, until he stops his motorcycle before you and open his pants and shows you his “thing” (you know what I mean right?).

Yeah! Exhibitionist!

GROSS.

Now tell me how would you react?

If it were me, I would be so freaked out and maybe run as fast as possible, leaving that guy happy. Because that’s what he aimed, to scare people. But what else I can do?

Oh, don’t worry my friend knows the solution.

So she stopped there, stared at the guy (or his Mr. P? I don’t know) and cooly said, “Man that’s small…” and casually continue her walk.

Now, that’s my girl! Apparently, I have a really cool friend. Haha.

Poor little Mister and his little Mister P hahah.

Tattoo's

Hello Carozone fans! While our lovely Caro is away, I thought I would
stop by and keep you company. I'm KS, from While We're Waiting.. and
our topic today involves needles.
But, in my opinion, the only good needles there are.... tattoo needles.

I suppose I surprise people when they find out I have quite a few
tattoos (the count is up to seven...). Not sure why... maybe I don't
look like a "tattoo person?" Although, I've always wondered what that
means...
Anyway, my most recent additions were some text on my feet. A few of
you who stop by my place now and then have asked what my tattoos
say...

On one foot: I took the road less traveled by
Other foot: And that has made all the difference.

It's the last line from my favorite Robert Frost poem, "The Road Not Taken."

Since my footsies have gotten inked up, I've been itching for another
tattoo. It's pretty addicting... and I think I want more text. My
challenge is where to put them. My future career is a bit conservative
so my options are limited.

10 Useless Things That I Can't Live Without

When Caro asked me to be a guest blogger for her, I asked if she had a specific topic she wanted me to write about. She sent me a list of topics to choose from, and I finally settled on "10 Useless Things That I Can't Live Without."

I picked the topic, thinking that it would be pretty easy to come up with a list. Once I sat down to start writing, I realized that it was going to much harder than I originally thought!

My first issue was the phrase "Can't Live Without" because let's face it, the only things we really need to live are food, water, and oxygen. So, I had to improvise a bit and modify that part of the stipulation to "Prefer Not to Live Without."

My second issue was with the phrase "Useless Things" because what exactly does it mean for something to be useless? Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines useless as: having or being of no use: a: ineffectual {a useless attempt} b: not able to give service or aid : inept. Based on that definition, there are very few things in the world that are truly useless. So, again, I had to improvise a bit and modify this to "Things That Serve No Important Purpose."

So, I preset to you Eyegirl's list of "10 Things That Serve No Important Purpose That I Prefer Not to Live Without":

1. Hair Dye ~ I think I saw my natural hair color for the blink of an eye a few years ago for the first time since I was about 10 years old. It was a scary sight! I am constantly dying my hair a new color with every visit to my hair stylist. It is an instant pick me up, and I certainly wouldn't want to live my life without being able to color my hair.

2. Make Up ~ I have had so many men tell me how glad they are that they aren't women so they don't have to spend so much time getting ready every day. I always respond that I love being able to put on make up every day! You can hide flaws, and bring out different aspects of your appearance. I think it is amazing what you can do with it all, and I'm so thankful that I am a woman and get to wear make up every day!

3. High Heels ~ I have an enviable shoe collection, and nothing makes me feel more attractive and put together than slipping my feet into a pair of 4 inch red heels for a night on the town!

4. White Noise Maker ~ I have a white noise maker next to my bed that I turn on every night as I fall asleep. Whenever I am traveling, and don't have my white noise to lull me to sleep, I actually have a hard time drifting off to dream land.

5. Orange Peeler ~ When I was a kid, my mom had an orange peeler. It was basically just a plastic stick with a little diamond shaped point at one end that could be used to cut the peel of an orange into strips for easy removal. I few years ago I finally found one and purchased one for myself. I love it! Can I peel an orange without it? Sure. But, it is such nicer to do it with my little orange peeler!

6. Cosmo ~ That magazine is my guilty pleasure! Sitting down to read it is a great stress reducer for me. Within minutes of opening the cover, I'm whisked away to another world where everyone is sexy and glamorous and always having fun. It's a great place to visit when I need to escape my own life for a while.

7. Naval Ring ~ I got my naval pierced when I was 19, and by now it is just a part of me. The few times I've had it out in my life it just looks so odd to me, and I find myself overwhelmed with that naked, "something is missing" feeling.

8. My Blog ~ I love blogging so much! It really serves no important purpose, but I certainly would never want to live without it. It is so much a part of me that going without it would probably feel like severing a limb.

9. Office Organization Gadgets ~ I'm a bit OCD, and own about every organizational gadget possible from pen holders and paperclip holders to drawer organizers and filing cabinets. Could I function without all of these little gizmos to keep my stuff in? Of course! But, I much prefer having them.

10. My Engagement/Wedding Ring ~ Obviously a ring really serves no purpose beyond looking pretty, but I would never want to live without mine because of all that it represents and all that it means to me.

I'm sorry I haven't been much around this week, last minute packing and D's parents arriving from Edmonton to be able to leave with us tomorrow, his sister is flying it tonight and work that is going absolutely crazy I just didn't have any time to blog.
