Cards

I never went to see a 'medium' before and gotten my cards read.
I have been thinking about it lately and I am very skeptic about it.
I have heard so many bad things about it and some extraordinary things also.

Have you ever gotten your cards read?
Was anything real? or was it all a big fat joke?

I got my cards read...several times. I think it's important to go to a reputable one. Ask people there who believe in the whole card reading thing, they'll recommend who to go to. I personally try not to take it seriously but some the readers say can often be true.

I got one really spelt out my family drama correctly, right up to the parts that my parents hadn't told me yet and turned out to be true after I grilled them. Haha. Give it a try if you're curious, it's not so bad.

I went once in the city and I LOVED it! It was a lot of fun and I thought it was pretty much right on. I think you'll like it especially if you don't take it super seriously!

Are we talking about Tarot cards here ? because I think they shuffle the cards, then spread them out and read them. If they shuffled them again and done the same thing, different cards would come up, so the reading would not be the same in my opinion. don't really know, because I have never been and done that personally.....

I'm a tad skeptical about the whole thing but I WOULD like to give it a go, just to see what was said.

i don't really believe in stuff like that. but even if i did, i don't want someone predicting what's going to 'happen' in my life because i think that screws with the way we make choices then...it's like we're influenced some way and i think it messes up what's supposed to happen. i think we are meant to go through all kinds of things in life, some good and some bad, and when we have a "one-up" on those things, it changes the way we live. i don't know...i guess i just want to live in the moment without knowing what's ahead. why worry, stress or even get excited over what could happen.

Are you going to do it?

I've never done it - it seems creepy and made up. My sister did it once and she said it was a joke. Her friend was told that she was on earth in her previous life. but as a squirrel.

If you go I hope you post about it!

I read my own cards...I have to decks! it not really about seeing exactly what's going to happen in your future it just lets you know what path you're on and if you could be on a better one! if you go somewhere to have it done I'd suggest you go to the Melange Magique downtown they are very good! it's fun at least once in your life :)

And then again, to add to my previous comment, a whole lot of things that mediums would tell you, could apply to many, many people. That has also been proven.
That is how it usually works.

Yes, and for me is not real. The last time that I went to a place like that the lady told me that I was going to married with someone with money, and definitely it not our case.

If I see that lady again, definitely I'm going to tell her that she was wrong because my husband works at a bank but don't have lots of money. LOL!!!!

I had it done to me once, for fun. I didn't trust if of course. She said I have a secret admirer. Duh?! I guess I'll never know if she's telling the truth or not, because it's a secret!

I've never had my cards read professionally, but I often do tarot card readings for myself, at home. I think you might have fun with it.
