Spanish class

My Spanish classes started the first week of September and were supposed to end November 19th. Since we were only 2 students and the teacher each time one could not attend the class it was canceled. So the class has been postpone for one week to another and on. Out of the 10 classes only 3 are left and guess what they have been postpone to January.
I don't know if I will really remember anything, I don't know if it was worth it. Yeah I did learn a few things, but I must admit I am very disappointed.

So during my Christmas vacation I will listen to my Cd's 'Spanish for dummies' and hope that it will sink in a little. I don't think I will take the second level, or at least not at the same school. The teacher is awesome, but when we actually get class.

I would really like to be able to learn all the basics before I go back down south this spring.

Girly girl movies

I've been wanting to do an evening of girly girl movies, but I just don't know what to rent.
I think the two the last girly girl movie I saw was Sex in the city and PS I love you and both of these movies have been out for a while.

First snow

Well I could smell it and it is now here.


I woke up to this nice white snow this morning that soon I will call white shit.

I made a Vlog for you quickly, but wasnt happy with the result so you'll have to enjoy only a picture for know. I promise you'll get you one of me shoveling my car out this winter.

Therapy part 2

I went shopping again today.

I bought the earrings I had been craving for a while.
Titanium Zoppini earrings with a small zircon on them.


I also bought more Christmas gifts and started getting ready for my next giveaway ('its coming up pretty soon)

Therapy

After a long week at work with many hours of overtime, and living lots of emotions lately I offered myself a little (shopping) therapy session tonight.
I spoiled myself and it feels great!

Here are my purchases:

2 T-shirts (a purple and a white)

A pair of jeans

A lingerie kit (like this one but purple)


A comfy pair of shoes

A purple top


I also bought myself a ring that divides in 3 with a big flat ivory stone in the middle which is very pretty and a Christmas gift for D.

I feel much better, but I think I'll got back...I still want a pair of earrings.

Today is November 20th and it is my B-day. I am now 31 years old.

Saturday's hot guy of the week is Jared Leto.

Born in Louisiana US in December 1971, he is the youngest of two boys. He is an actor but also the lead singer of the band called 30 Seconds To Mars. He is a vegetarian. I tried to find out if he has a girlfriend/wife and all I could find is that he might be gay and would of loved to have sex with Brad Pitt lol.






I know he is not one of the hottest things out there, but there's just something about him that attracts me. Enjoy till next week!

Operation peanut butter

This morning as I am lying in bed because my stomach kept me home, I got mad because I couldnt tie my hair in a pony tail. My mind started to wonder how could I make my hair grow back faster?


I remembered this kids movie when I was young made by a Quebec producer called 'Opération beurre de pinottes' which means in English Operation peanut butter.
It is a movie where a kid discovers that if you put peanut butter on yourself (with a little bit of magic) your hair will grow non stop and fast. In the movie it does get out of control and is pretty funny but what if I tried it?

So picture me with the jar of Skippy with a big spatula covering up my hair in peanut butter. Hands full of PB, counter top and floor a complete mess.


Got a good laugh? me too so I didnt try it.

I googled to see if the was an actual miracle recipe and there isn't. Don't wash your hair every day, brush it very often and don't tie it up in a pony tail.

What was I thinking when I got my hair cut so short?

My best friend's dad

My best friend moved to Gaspésie 2 months ago.
I miss her like crazy, even if in these 2 months she has come back 3-4 times.

The last time I would of wished that she never had to come. A call from her mother to tell her, her dad got rushed to the hospital.
He is a man in his 60's in shape, what could have happened?

While trying to get up one morning his hip was torturing him, he couldn't get up. Off to the hospital Xray revealed a broken hip and an inflammation of the ganglions.
A few tests and days later the diagnosis cancer. Very advanced cancer, in the tissues around the hip, in the in the intestines, stomach, esophagus and the ganglion's.

Then tonight she learn that it has spread out to the brain.
He has already done his first chemo treatment, but my friend even as a nurse is not very positive about the diagnosis.

I wish I could help her, do anything to take the pain away. She is now moving back here to be close to her dad. It is a lot of emotions in a very short period for her.

I love her so much.
